We are CONCERNED Foothill County and Town of High River residents living within 200 metres - 6 km from Rimrock Renewables proposed biodigester and fear this facility will have a massive negative carbon footprint that will impact our surrounding environment.
In doing so, we believe they will cause immeasurable environmental devastation to the lands, river, the existing wildlife habitat in the area, and could further pollute our air, drastically affect our health and reduce our quality of life from the foul odours these facilities are proven to emit.
For these reasons we have retained a lawyer to look at what legal options we have to halt the proposed Industrial Biodigester Facility application submitted to Alberta Environment and Parks from being built on agricultural lands. We want Rimrock to re-locate their proposed biodigester facility to an Industrial zoned property away from adjacent landowners and the rural community of High River.
